By purchasing a license to use the ebook, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement on behalf of yourself and all members of your household and others who use the Service under your account. Grant of license
The Licensor authorises the licensee a single license to download a copy of the electronic book titled ‘Health is made at home, hospitals are for repairs’ authored by Lord Nigel Crisp and published by the licensor in any of the available formats. The license permits one installation of the ebook in either epub, .mobi or azw3 formats on up to three devices for their personal use only.
Restrictions
The licensee shall not:
3.1 Share, resell, rent, assign, timeshare or transfer all or part of the ebook or any rights granted
hereunder to any other person.
3.2 Duplication, editing, modification, adaptation or alteration of the ebook (or part thereof),
and the creation of any derivative work incorporating any download (or part thereof);
3.3 Remove any proprietary notices, labels and marks from the ebook
3.4 Transfer or sublicense the title of the ebook to any other party
3.5 The circumvention or removal of, or any attempt to circumvent or remove, the technological
measures applied to any ebook for the purpose of preventing unauthorised use.
Exceptions to restrictions
The licensee are allowed to:
4.1 Make a single backup or archival copy of the ebook on no more than 3 devices
4.2 Print pages of the ebook for personal use and references in connection with business or
work activities
4.3 Create and save bookmarks and notes as provided by the functionality of the program
Intellectual Property Protection
The ebook is owned by the licensor and is protected by international copyright and other intellectual property laws. The licensor reserves all rights in the ebook not expressly granted herein. This license and your right to use the ebook terminate automatically if the licensee violate any part of this Agreement. In the event of termination, the Licensee must remove the original and any copies of the ebook from all devices associated with the licenses granted.
Fees
The licensee shall pay to the Licensor a fee as advertised on www.healthismadeathome.uk for a single license of each ebook downloaded
Limited Warranty
The licensor warrants that the ebook files are free from defects and can be read by a PDF Reader, ePub reader, Kindle, or other. If the licensee is not satisfied with the ebook, refunds will be made within 14 days of purchase. Except for this express limited warranty, the licensor makes and you receive no warranties, express, implied, statutory or in any communication with you, and the licensor disclaims any other warranty including the implied warranty of merchantability or fitness or a particular purpose. The licensor does not warrant that the operation of the ebook will be error free.
Limitation of liability
In no event will the licensor be liable for any damages, whether arising for tort or contract, including loss of data, lost profits, or other special, incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising out of the use or inability to use the ebook.
General
9.1 This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the licensor and the licensee and supersedes any prior agreement concerning the ebook.
9.2 This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
